This year we are very lucky to have 2 new Wild activity providers coming to Purecamping. Keep an eye on our events page and Facebook for updates about School for the Wild periodic day courses and Wild about Nature summer camps!
School for the Wild
Diarmuid and Frankie of School for the Wild will be teaching bushcraft skills and fire making which might appeal to those lovers of the natural world who want to spend some time re-learning the skills of our ancestors.
We are so used to having every convenience we want at the push of a button, we are so removed from the basics of survival on this planet. Do we think about where our food comes from? Where our water comes from that lubricates every cell of our being? What luxury it is to have bricks and mortar keeping us sheltered from the elements. Do we think about how we heat our bodies and our homes, and the impact it has on our planet.
See our Events page to see the lineup.
