** Good news story *** This little goldfinch crashed into our kitchen window this morning. Kevin held him in his hand inside for an hour until he warmed up. He still wasn't inclined to take off. Marlen called with a little crate so we could keep him safe til he was ready. But, just after I stopped recording, he flew off and perched on the 'Goldfinch tree'. Hardy for such a little creature.
