Autumn Wellness Weekend
Enjoy a weekend of Yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, Relaxation and Meditation with experienced teachers, Trea Heapes of Purecamping and Kevin Copeland, Tai Chai teacher and instructor. Both teachers with between 10 and 15 years of teaching each. These classes take place at the Purecamping eco-camping retreat space, set looking over a fairy tale woodland with the Shannon and the Atlantic to the South and West.
Soak in a seaweed bath in the luxurious setting of Kilkee Thalassotherapy centre and relax even deeper with a Head, Neck and Upper back massage.
Blow away the cobwebs with a coastal walk led by local walker and story teller Martin Haugh. Watch Hilary prepare your lunch as she offers you samples of locally collected seaweeds and foraged fruits and veg while sharing nuggets of interesting facts about food and how to nourish your body.
Book your accommodation now with a choice of glamping or family run guest houses with Purecamping, Kilkee Thalassotherapy centre or the Strand Guesthouse. Let them know you have booked tickets and they may have a special offer waiting for you! Use WELLNESS2018 as the promo code if you book your accommodation with us at Purecamping. Q: Do you need previous experience of Yoga or Meditation before?
A: Absolutely not. Classes are adapted to the levels of all students needs.
Q: Do you need to be fit?
A: Not particularly. You might be recuperating from an illness and might need to use this weekend to get a deep and restorative rest. You can choose to lie in Shavasana if things get too much for you and that is absolutely acceptable and recommended.
Q: Would it be suitable for families?
A: This particular weekend is not really suitable for children as there is no specific program on for them and we would like to give the practice space over to adults on this weekend.
Q: Will there be other children on site (at Purecamping)
A: There may be other children on site staying with families that are on holidays here. It will be fairly minimal though as the school holidays are over and children are back into their school routine.
